Steps for Students 5K

Take a look at this memory!  This was STEPS 2015 - my children and my God children.  At that time all making memories at St. Mary Catholic School.  Fast forward to today and all are off at college and one last but not least son about to graduate soon from high school.  Certainly this is bittersweet!  We have seen SMCS evolve over the years and it just keeps getting better and better.  I could go on and on about SMCS but one memory that I often mention can be replayed every week at SMCS:  "On a Friday morning a while back when all the kids were required to attend Mass, I attended as well.  On that particular morning as I sat quietly in this beautiful church, looking over at all the kids learning to be reverent during Mass, and listening to Father John speak his message to all of us , I thought to myself what a beautiful scene - I was reminded that nowhere else would these kids be able to experience that moment in time anywhere but here.  And that is the icing on the cake for me - for my kids to have been able to learn in an environment rich in academics, religion and faith."  I thank you for your support!
